Kevin J Murray & Co is primarily a civil and structural engineering consultancy practice based in Cork, Ireland. The business is owned and managed by Kevin Murray, a Chartered Engineer with more than 20 years experience as a consultant in Ireland and the UK. Aside from Kevin’s own skills and experience, the company also engages affiliates with complementary skills to meet the requirements of complex projects.

Water Policy and Pricing:

Kevin Murray has considerable experience of public water services delivery in Ireland having acted as the Client’s Representative for a range of water and wastewater projects over the last ten years. In particular, Kevin has been the leading consultant in Ireland in the implementation of national water pricing policy through programmes such as the metering of non-domestic water connections. He has spoken at several conferences and in the national media on water pricing policy and service delivery.

Kevin J Murray & Co works with clients across the supply chain to explore the strategic challenges and opportunities arising from the changes that are emerging in water services delivery in Ireland. These changes include the need to respond to EU directives, create a sustainable funding model, finance and implement large capital investment, and develop national service delivery models. Key clients include local authorities, utility companies, civil engineering contractors, and product manufacturers / suppliers.

At a local level, Kevin J Murray & Co works with individual small and large non-domestic consumers to examine their water bills and explore means to reduce water costs.
